Jesse Ray Diamond is an American film director from The Bay Area, now based in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in Vallejo, Oakland, and San Francisco, the multifarious cultured cities are what shaped his bold and raw directing style, garnering him a reputation as one of the most exciting and authentic voices amongst this newer generation of storytellers.

As a director, Jesse applies a multi-hyphenate approach to his process bringing talents in editing, writing, and photography to his portfolio capturing the attention of agencies such as Leo Burnett, We Are Social, Wasserman and more. His heartfelt process rings true in projects for clients such as Apple, Netflix, Samsung, Beats By Dre, The NBA, AT&T, Nike, Adidas, and Calvin Klein.

Since a child, a camera has always been in his hand. Jesse never thought that he would go from helping his Mother putting films on the shelves at Blockbuster, to having his films “Broken Ground” and “The Workshop” play on the big screen earning official selections at Mammoth Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, The Lift-Off Network, South Texas International Film Festival, Tokyo Film Festival and more.

For the last decade, Jesse has immersed himself in the art of disciplined filmmaking. His work often centering around painting well-deserved portraits for stories, subjects and products that warrant aesthetic sensibility, intellectual curiosity and a passionate perspective captured with an artful eye. His latest work Jesse has directed spots for Beats By Dre highlighting Ivan Cornejo’s story for Hispanic Heritage Month, and Samsung’s first reveal to the world of the Galaxy S23 Ultra starring rising Twitch streamer Fuslie.
