Fredgy Noël is a Haitian-American Clio award-winning director and screenwriter based in NYC. Known for her quirky, inclusive, female-driven stories, Fredgy masterfully balances narrative and documentary techniques to reflect the world’s nuance, complexity, and beauty. Her films often explore themes centered on women and marginalized voices.
Fredgy has directed impactful call-to-action content for non-profits like Black Girls Rock and Planned Parenthood. Her esteemed branded clients include Doc Martens, Jergens, Vaseline, Warner Bros Discovery, MTV, VH1, BET, and NBCUniversal. Her films have been showcased at numerous Academy Award-qualifying festivals and prestigious film societies, including the Tribeca Film Festival, the British Film Institute, Outfest, DocNYC, and Bozar. In 2021, she joined the Directors Guild of America.
Fredgy holds an MFA degree from Hunter College’s Integrated Media Arts program and is currently a graduate student at the prestigious NYU Grad Film program.
